Network Security

Endpoint Risk Management

  • Endpoint risk management is a cybersecurity process that protects data on devices by using security tools and policies to reduce the risk of attacks. It involves monitoring and managing all endpoints that access a network and responding to threats.

Next-Generation Firewall

  • A next-generation firewall (NGFW) is a security tool that protects networks from modern cyber threats. NGFWs can be used in cloud environments and can be physical, virtual, containerized, or cloud.

IDS – Intrusion Detection System

  • An IDS monitors the traffic on a computer network to detect any suspicious activity. It analyzes the data flowing through the Network to look for patterns and signs of abnormal behavior.

IPS – Intrusion Prevention System

  • It is a network security application that monitors network or system activities for malicious activity and takes action to prevent it, including reporting, blocking, or dropping it, when malicious activity does occur.

Penetration Testing

  • A penetration test (pen test) is an authorized simulated attack performed on a computer system to evaluate its security. The purpose of this simulated attack is to identify any weak spots in a system’s defenses which attackers could take advantage.

Security Incident Response

  • An organization’s processes and technologies for identifying, containing, and resolving cyberattacks. It involves a series of steps and technologies to detect and respond to security breaches or cyberattacks. An incident response plan enables cybersecurity teams to track, limit or prevent damage.

Web Filtering

  • Web filtering is a technology that controls what content users can access on the internet. It prevents users from accessing certain websites or URLs by blocking their browsers from loading pages from those sites.
